The team at Tory Folliard Gallery have come together to create an enchanting experience in the bitter cold of Milwaukee’s January. Wallflowers exhibits the works of recently developed artists juxtaposed with accomplished experts to immerse the viewer into a world of warmth and jubilation.
In this cozy Gallery you have been invited to treat yourself to wonderful knowledge by discovering the marvelous process of the modern master of trompe l’oeil, Ron Isaacs. His career’s creative Magnus Opus Greetings is an acrylic on birch plywood transformed into a collage of spring leaves and flowers. From her The ladies collection, Nancy Mladenoff brings her exploration of women in America and their roles in society into the Wallflowers exhibit with her Michurina Bergamasco & Ashley Lily piece. Cool and warm colors dance together to give the viewer this cozy sense of spring. Also, Fred Stonehouse returns to Tory Folliard Gallery with his witty sunflower piece by the name of Goodbye, or by it’s well earned nickname the self watering flower! This warm, earthy colored composition reunites man and nature as a playful self-portrait. Pop in for a glimpse of how this exclusive project earned it’s name! These are but a few of the art treasures to be experienced at Tory Folliard Gallery till early February.
Tory’s team has astonishingly brought together 30+ artist’s works for this show! Folliard, Kim (Assistant Director) , and the preparators worked diligently to maximize the experience of this garden of creations. They’ve done a tremendous job! If you are searching for some warmth in the heart and or the mind stop into Tory Folliard Gallery, located at 223 N. Milwaukee Street, in our great city of Milwaukee.
